The project focuses on reducing the emissions and operating costs of lifting and freight machines in function inside the containers’ terminal, through the adoption various types of alternative supply fuel to diesel (power, LNG, to dual fuel diesel + LNG).

 

The project’s activities will be held by Global Service Ltd., in collaboration with other Italian operative partners, consist in the retrofit convertion from diesel supply to the dual fuel (Diesel - LNG) of a Rubber Tyred Gantry (RTG) in port container terminal "Darsena Toscana" Livorno, where the machine is among the main consumers of energy.
